Estate Control Check
Structured starting point
Estate Control Check
Collecting documents is not enough. The Check examines the outcome produced by the entire system and whether the system can be activated when a real event occurs.
Facts and documents
Events and conflicts
Decisions and implementation
What it is
Not a universal will package and not a tax scheme.
The Check brings together the family situation, ownership, authority, documents and cross-border links before a specific solution is selected. VB creates a verifiable map and tasks for specialists, without replacing the civil-law notary, tax adviser, corporate lawyer or foreign counsel.
Outputs
Five working maps and a review calendar.
Family, Asset & Control Map
People, assets, authority, documents and countries in one system
Continuity & Executability Map
Event, actor, authority source, procedure, dependency and alternate
Priority Risk Register
Priority, evidence, owner, deadline and verification source
Decision Brief
Family decisions, acceptable trade-offs and specialist tasks
Implementation Route
Implementation sequence and trigger for the Operating review
Operating Calendar. Annual and event-driven review dates, owners and update triggers.
Working sequence
From a stated fact to a manageable route.
Evidence maturity is recorded separately: Client-stated → Document located → Authority reviewed → Institution/procedure confirmed → Tabletop-tested → Needs remediation.
- 01
Initial map
High-level facts about family, ownership, business, countries and existing documents — without passwords or access credentials.
- 02
Document review
Record what the client states, what has been located, what a specialist has reviewed and which procedure still needs confirmation.
- 03
Family decisions
Separate the objectives, roles and trade-offs that cannot be delegated to an external expert.
- 04
Implementation route
Assign an owner, deadline and evidence requirement to each notarial, tax, corporate, banking or foreign task.
Data and security
An access map is not an access vault.
We do not request passwords, PINs, seed or recovery phrases, private keys, MFA codes, security answers or the exact location of a secret. A sensitive client map uses a separate secure environment, minimal fields and role-based access.
Safe confirmation
Confirmation without premature activation.
Routes are documented and, where permitted, confirmed with the institution or through a tabletop review. Nobody uses another person's login, shares credentials or exercises authority prematurely.
Confidential introduction
Start with high-level facts — without sending documents.
At the first meeting we determine whether an Estate Control Check is useful, which perimeter is needed and which specialists may be required.
