Do not search for one country as the answer. Build a confirmation route for each asset and document.
One connection to a country does not decide everything
A conclusion on succession law does not automatically determine tax treatment, real-estate registration, a corporate transfer or a bank procedure. Even within one family, different assets may require different local actions.
The map therefore begins with people, assets, companies and documents. Each row records country links, the controlling document, the institution/process and the adviser owner.
Documents should be coordinated, not multiplied by template
It is not safe to recommend automatically one will per country or assume that one document will be recognised in the same way everywhere. Dutch and foreign instruments must be checked for interaction, scope and possible revocation conflicts.
Practical dependencies — translation, legalisation, valuation, filing and a temporary liquidity gap — may influence the outcome as much as an abstract legal rule.
